Springwood High School is proud to celebrate the excellent contribution the school has made in providing outstanding opportunities for our students since our establishment in 1967.

The school has an outstanding reputation in all academic areas, with particular success in the Creative and Performing Arts. The central focus of our school is on providing opportunities for all of our students in a safe and caring environment. In this environment, the individual needs of students are appreciated and staff, students and families work together to ensure that all children maximise their potential.

Through encouragement we challenge students to strive in all areas and to develop their knowledge and skills for the 21^st century. Working in partnership with parents, we provide students with the ability to be happy and well-adjusted members of our society who will consistently make positive contributions to a better and stronger community.

The school is proud of its recognised history of outstanding results at the Higher School Certificate. The school meets the needs of all students with an extensive curriculum in the most challenging courses and in its breadth of courses.

The school is well known for its Soccer Academy, under our State and Australian Coach, and our exceptional Rock Eisteddfod Group. The positive community values that our students hold are clearly shown by their extensive contributions to charitable programs and by being judged the “Best School Participating” in the Springwood Foundation Day Parade for the last two years.
